Ultra-tight jeans, thumping four-to-the-floor rhythms, and caterwauling screams didn’t just define Christian’s teenage years, they also define 2000’s Dance Punk, the focus of this episode. Chrisitan and Wyndham will talk about the music that dragged lead-footed punks and rockers back onto the dancefloor after nearly a decade of post-grunge balladry. Christian explains the innovations and influences that shaped the genre and chats with Wyndham about the cultural underpinnings of dance and punk coming together in New York City.
