In this week’s episode, we sat down with Charles Bissell, frontman, vocalist, and guitarist of the iconic indie rock band, The Wrens. Fourteen years after the band’s critically acclaimed album (and Brother Brother Brother favorite) The Meadowlands, the world has eagerly been anticipating the follow up. So naturally, we asked: “Mr. Bissell, what have you been up to?”

In our discussion, we cover the pursuit of perfectionism, the struggle to balance music and family, the Wrens’ origins as a power pop cover band, and what the world can expect from their long awaited new album, due for release next year.
